Apple Watch Series 12 (GPS) with Milanese Loop
A work of heart
The most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable¹, now measuring heart rate variability as often as every five minutes and taking background heart rate readings every five seconds.
Know when to go for it
Readiness looks at your recent activity, vitals and sleep, so you know when to rest and when to put yourself to the test.
Your health, overnight and on the move
Frequent HRV readings show how you handle stress and recovery, the Vitals app gives you a daily sleep score², and Pacer and Heart Rate Zones keep every workout on track.
Help, close at hand
Series 12 can detect a hard fall or a severe car crash, help connect you with emergency services and let your emergency contacts know³.
Built for the whole day
Ceramic Shield 2 makes the aluminium case tougher than any smartwatch glass, and the battery lasts up to 24 hours of normal use⁴. A 15‑minute fast charge gives up to 12 hours more⁵. In Dark Bronze aluminium with a matching Milanese Loop, in 42mm or 46mm.

Legal
- Based on data from an Apple-conducted study of heart rate accuracy, during July and August 2026, utilizing commercially available best-selling wearables available as of June 2026. For more information, visit apple.com/HRAccuracy.
- The Vitals app is for wellness purposes only and not for medical use.
- Emergency SOS requires a cellular connection or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone. You can use cellular models of Apple Watch to make an emergency call in many locations, provided that cellular service is available. Some cellular networks may not accept an emergency call from your Apple Watch if your Apple Watch isn’t activated, if it isn’t compatible with or configured to operate on a particular cellular network, if it isn’t set up for cellular service, or if the cellular network does not support emergency calling over IMS. See support.apple.com/108374 and apple.com/watch/cellular for more information.
- Battery life varies by use and configuration. See apple.com/watch/battery for more information.
- Testing conducted by Apple in July and August 2026 using preproduction Apple Watch Series 12 (GPS) and Apple Watch Series 12 (GPS + Cellular), each paired with an iPhone; all devices tested with prerelease software, preproduction Apple Watch Magnetic Fast Charger to USB-C Cable (Model A3277), and Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter (Model A2305). Charge time varies with adapter, region, settings, initial battery levels, usage, and environmental factors; actual results will vary.
- The Cycle Tracking app should not be used for birth control or to diagnose a health condition. Cycle deviation notifications inclusive of perimenopause are for people 40 years old or older.
- The Blood Oxygen app is for wellness purposes only and not for medical use.
- Apple Watch Series 12 has a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that it may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean or snorkeling to a depth of 6 meters. It should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other high-velocity water sports. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and can diminish over time.
