A dual‑battery system gives up to 31 hours of video playback on the inner display and up to 44 hours on the outer display³,⁴, and fast wired charging reaches 50% in 20 minutes⁵.
Two 48MP cameras, new ways to shoot

- Video Playback for iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro Models: Testing conducted by Apple in July 2026 using preproduction iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max units and software, subscribed to LTE and 5G carrier networks. Video playback consisted of a repeated 2-hour 23-minute HDR movie purchased from the iTunes Store. Video playback (streamed) consisted of a repeated 3-hour 1-minute HDR movie purchased from the iTunes Store. All settings were default except: Bluetooth was paired with headphones; Wi-Fi was associated with a network; the Wi-Fi feature Ask to Join Networks, Auto-Brightness, and True Tone were turned off.
- Fast Wired Charging: Testing conducted by Apple in July 2026 using preproduction iPhone Duo units and software, and either USB‑C Charge Cable or Apple MagSafe Chargers (1‑meter Model A3502 and 2‑meter Model A3503), both with Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max (Model A3351). Wired fast charge supported with 60W‑capable (or higher) USB‑C cable and USB PD power adapters. Fast‑charge testing conducted with drained iPhone Duo units in open configuration. Times measured from the appearance of the Apple logo as the unit started up. Charge time varies with adapter, settings, usage, and environmental factors; actual results will vary.
- Scratch Resistance: 3x better scratch resistance of Ceramic Shield 2 is compared with iPhone 16 or earlier.
- Apple Intelligence and Siri AI: Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, or Vietnamese.
